Just a nice location and park. Had some people that want to camp but blare music until about 10pm which I dont get. Was kind of annoying for those of us who came for peace and quiet.

I really liked the park staff. They kept people that were not supposed to be there out and were very nice.

Great location for doing a day or evening mountain bike ride and rest for the day or the night. Great family outing opportunities.

Beautiful scenery especially waking up in the morning to fog on the lake with the sunrise.

We stayed at site #28 at Hippy Point in Murrell Park. The site has a lovely view of the inlet. I was worried the boats from the nearby marina would be a distraction, but the whole inlet is a no wake zone, so it was very quiet. The toilets are close by car, but are just pit toilets, so pack hand sanitizer! The ground was very hard, so you'll need a hammer for your tent stakes. We had a great time taking our inflatable paddle board out on the water. There's a small little beach that works great for a put in site. Would be fine for kayaks, too. The site had a fire pit and grate, covered picnic table and a nice tree for shade.

My spouse and I reserved the site for two nights. We were not told by anyone that we could not leave any items left at the site unattended, why would I pack up only to unpack. That does not make any sense! When we returned to our site the three items we left were gone and when we inquired about the site at the office our items were NOT in lost&found. The employee had to contact a volunteer who advised our items were located on a cart somewhere else. However not all items were returned, the tent that we left attached to the picnic table was never returned. And how do you leave a large plastic container, ice chest, and tent scattered. They were left on or next to the picnic table. Worst camping experience EVER. And we did not stay the 2nd night knowing a volunteer could walk up and take anything and claim it was abandoned.

My 11y.o. daughter and I had #28 reserved! It was an amazing view! It was to bad we were unable to stay the entire week we had planned since it was reserved prior to us over the weekends. We can not wait to return very very soon!
