The staff was friendly and helpful in making your stay fun and what i needed. The camping area was kept clean. It was a beautiful view of lake with the boats going by. I loved watching so many fishing out on lake. Next time I want to fish. Thanks to the Park Rangers for all their help and to the camp hosts!

Super nice surrounding. Cheap stay. Toilets/showers could be improved.

Close to Lake Grapevine and very quiet at night. Trees for shade, a pretty location. Fellow campers were polite.

Best tent/car camping site in DFW. The workers at the gate are extremely nice and informative. The views are phenomenal and it’s very relaxing out here on Hippy Point. My husband and I plan to come back quite often.

There are no bathrooms very close to the campsite. You have to drive or walk a pretty good way to get to it. A porta potty next to the campsite would be nice.

Quite a few interesting bike trails, lots of excellent day areas to enjoy.
Well patrolled by both park staff and local police. Immaculate campsites.
Look forward to returning as soon as possible.

It was too windy and my three year old daughter screamed a lot. I suppose that's not the park's fault though. We love Murrell Park because it's close to civilization, the campsites are well-kept and spread out, the staff are friendly, the lake views are pleasant, the price is much cheaper than the TX State Parks, and the trails are great for hiking! My kids love heckling the mountain bikers as they struggle through technical climbs and fall all over themselves. Such fun! We'll certainly be back.
