Always love to go to Cedar Ridge. Just wish they would clean up the areas getting down to the water.

We had a wonderful stay. We were in site 56 and it was a good site with fairly easy access to the lake. The site was in good shape with an extra area to park next to the main RV spot.

Nice clean park, friendly staff, restrooms are clean, and park was quiet even though it was full. Sites are level and have plenty of space for trailer and multiple vehicles.

We've always like this park for the closeness of the VA. I wish they would reopen the laundry facilities, it's only for the hosts and storage for the hosts (not sure what the hosts do anymore...they don't man the gate and didn't see them around the park either). The dump station on the west side is in the wrong location. You have to circle back thru the campsites once you use it.

Cedar Ridge was great! It was a quiet campground right on the water. There was plenty to explore and close to amenities nearby.

Location was just a few miles from Temple, TX and most all locations were big enough for mid to large RVs. Most lots were large with plenty of space between each one. Only issue was a tree near the dumping station that most RVs had to avoid to prevent damage to roofs. The tree limbs need to be trimmed to reduce damage to RV roofs.

Unfortunately, I was only able to get a spot here for 1 night due to the fact, these campgrounds are no longer being used for recreational use. They have turned into senior citizen RV parks. So many people bring in their big trailers and sit inside them for 14 days making it difficult for people like me who want to hike, fish, kayak and explore the area.

Nice, quiet park during the heat of the summer weekday. Lots of deer to watch, and other wildlife. Lake was very low during our visit.

We were in site 56, great site. Not on top of each other. Great water view it a little tricky getting down to the water for the elderly. Water level was very low due to lack of rain. Lots of deer in the park so that was enjoyable. The only negative I have is the ants. Little bitty ants crawling on everything.

Me and my family generally disperse camp in national forests, so an RV park isn't really our thing. This was the only close and available camping option for us while visiting Texas to attend the annual mother earth news fair in Belton Tx. This park is very nice with drive thru dump stations for rv owners and the sites are well kept with great lake views. My 4 yr. old daughter loved how close she could get to the deer! I wasn't crazy about the fact that one broke into our camp and ate our apples, lol. That was my fault for leaving them hanging on a nail on the picnic table. The main gripe I had was there's no ventilation/heat in the bathroom/shower areas. Other parks we've visited in the past are heated in the winter. We stopped staying in rv parks to disperse camp a couple years ago so this style of camping wasn't really for us but we did enjoy our stay here overall and my daughter learned how to cast a fishing pole here so that will always be a fond memory. If the fair is in Belton again next year, then LORD willing we will most likely stay here again.
