We visited off season and enjoyed it so much we extended our stay by 4 days. It was quiet, clean, lots of wildlife.

I would like to give high praise to Jim Bush. He checked sites several times a day and help maintain cleanliness in the restrooms. He was very nice and pleasant. He is a keeper.

The water was turned off due to weather and I requested a full refund and It was approved but I am still waiting on it to be refunded.

We normally stop here on our way out of town and on the way back home. It’s a great park and reminds us of home with the deer roaming. Family friendly resort. The price is right too!

shutting down the best side of the park for the winter is frustrating as well as the laundry facility is still not repaired and available to patrons.

We never saw a camp host anywhere. Although it is not their fault, the bathrooms were horrific. Always stuffed with toilet paper and in the woman's shower, there was a huge pile of diarrhea on the wall and the floor, which didn't get cleaned up for over 2 days, which after cleanup, there was a diarrhea stain on the floor. There was no soap, and no type of towels in the woman's room, not even an air dryer. the last site we went to had these things.
The campsites are close together and it was loud. The firepits and grills were left dirty upon our arrival. At the last campground we were in, the firepits and grills were cleaned in between visitors and we saw the camp host(s) several times a day. I don't think we will come back here.

We were here for the snow/ice storm. Ranger Johnson did an excellent job of getting us prepared, knowing the water was going to be turned off. The Park Hosts and Gate attendants are excellent at this park and were also very helpful during this storm.

Was very happy with everything. In the one area open in winter there is even hot showers.

Sites are well spaced apart; I like the shelter over the picnic table. Serene campground with deer & turkey roaming about.
