Site 31 has an awesome view with the lake behind the site. The restrooms and showers are close by. There's a boat ramp and swimming area across the street. Excellent attendants that take care of the campgrounds.

I have been to many campgrounds over the past 6 months. The ACOE parks in central Texas are a great choice almost always on a beautiful lake. Unfortunately this park seemed to have lots of trash and cigarette butts at many sites including ours. I'm confused about who cleans these sites when they're turned over. I did see what I thought were "public volunteers" doing service at a different park in this same area. People PLEASE pickup after yourself and don't put your cigarette butts anywhere other than the obvious spot. National Park and National Forest campgrounds over the entire western US didn't seem to have this same trash problem we are seeing in Texas.
