This was our first camping trip with our first RV. Cedar Ridge was the perfect location to get our feet wet. The park hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. Our site was level and the covered picnic areas on each site was a nice plus. As newbies we forgot a few things and stores were a short 15 minute drive. Well definitely keep Cedar Ridge on our list of places to return to.

The new LED lighting installed in the restrooms is very much appreciated. Care must be taken when taking walks on the park road opposite Loop 4, toward the Turkey Roost group camp, marina, and boat ramp. People going to and from the boat ramp and marina sometimes drive WAY too fast on this road (40 MPH or more), and there is a blind curve just past the entrance gate to loop 4. On this outing, every time someone dumped their tanks at the dump station at loop 4, sewage ran out on top of the ground near the road, which was behind our campsite (loop 4, site 45). If the wind was from the north, the smell was overpowering at our campsite. This is a very pretty park, and we love watching the deer and turkeys that roam the park. We always have an enjoyable stay. The paving is good and parking is not usually a problem. The restroom on loop 4 really should have more stalls for both men and women. When the camping loop is full, there may be a wait to use it.

We stay at this park often. Nice park. Normally quiet after 10 pm. However; on our last stay this month, the campers across the street decided to stay up late playing music rather loudly. Other than that will like it here.

Quiet site with lots of deer and wild turkeys.

This park is beautiful! The campsites are nice,y spaced apart and there weren’t any sticker burrs. We can’t wait to go back after COVID when everything is available to use safely.
