Loved this campground. Sites were well maintained and quiet. Parking pads are wide and very level.

It was a great quiet camp. Lots of places to hike including our dog. People were friendly and facilities were great. Very helpful gentleman at the check in building.

The facilities were very well maintained. And it was a very nice, quiet stay. The only thing that could have made it better is if the space between camp spots was doubled.

Would like to see a fishing dock put in so handicap people can go fishing. No where to fish right now.

Beautiful park with lots of room between rvs. Grill, picnic table, water, elec., restrooms and showers. On the lake with deer everywhere. Lots of trees and shade. Clean and quiet.

We had to move after two nights in order to stay in the park. Our first site, 18, was nice with deer coming around our site. Our second site, 42, was very low and flooded when it rained. It really needs some rock to build it up so it can properly drain.
When we made our reservation, the website did not have much available so we took whatever was open per the online reservation website. When we arrived and while we were there, a lot of sites remained empty. After talking with the front gate, it was clear that this park really does not have a very effective policy for handling no shows. If no one shows and no one calls or cancels, they leave the site empty until the check out date because you have paid for it and can arrive whenever you want during the reservation window. This makes it very hard for people who are traveling through and may need a nice place to stay for a night or two. Even if you show up on the chance that they may have something open, you will not be able to get in one of the empty spots for the night. I have stayed in parks where if no contact is made to make someone aware that you intend to show up, the site and fees are forfeited. This allows others to make use of the site. Because of this, we will probably not even try to stay here again.

The only negative thing was that our picnic table area flooded with only a small amount of rain. I’m sure this could be rectified by adding additional gravel to raise it up So it it would drain off.
