Excellent maintenance. Much used for fishing and camping and hardly any litter and no trash anywhere l went. Safe, quiet well spaced. Very good roads, better hosts and staff.

50 amp connection was not working. Ranger didn't know how to fix it and thought everything was okay but my EMS system said the neutrals were reversed and would cut off one leg of the connection. It was over 100 degrees and I had to run only one AC in my 5th wheel because I could only use the 30 amp connection. Several others in my camping group had similar issues.

Small RV campsite loop was nice along the lake. Lots of trees. Could access lake fairly easy. Did not catch any fish though. I liked that it is very close to Temple/Belton for stores and close to family. It's a quiet location, except for hearing some bombs occasionally from Fort Hood. Obviously not a place to go during season of Cedar allergy. Also be aware that this lake has had problems with blue-green algae that can be harmful to your dogs.

Really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful park. Loved the 40 deer camping out behind our campsite.

Lovely little park. Super clean sites. Peaceful and tranquil. Love the local wildlife. Having deer every morning and evening just relaxes the soul. And the surrounding area around the lake is beautiful. Not overpopulated. You can actually enjoy the scenery.

We love this campground! The view, the wildlife, the quiet. Wish more of it were open throughout the year.
