Our campsite was very spacious and well maintained. The bathrooms were clean, but not heated. There was lots of wildlife that would come right up to our campsite including deer, geese, and some feral cats. There were at least 3 cats that roamed the campground everyday, so fair warning if you are bringing a pet! Overall it was a very nice location.

The best volunteers ever. Great campsites. We love the park.

We really like this campground, close to everything we need...BUT I wish they had some full hookup sites. None of the Belton Lake nor Stillhouse Lake COE campgrounds have full Hookup sites.

Used to be my favorite COE park, but needs some work right now, such as repairing the dump station! Otherwise, beautiful as always

Very nice campground. Our motorhome and towed vehicle fit nicely in the space. Clean and well maintained. Showers and restrooms very nice. Will camp here again.

Gate attendant is very rude and wants to try to be controlling with campers checking in early even though the site was empty. I’ve been camping at this park for over 20 years and never have had an issue with the gate attendant until her. I camp to relax not to be scolded and told what I am to do the next time I want to check in early. Apparently she needs to find another job because it’s obvious she’s not happy with this particular job. Cedar Ridge is a wonderful park to stay at unless she’s the one on duty.

Everything at the camp was great except that men's restroom did work the entire time we were there. It commode had been stopped with an excessive amount of toliet paper. We spoke with people that had been there much longer then we were, and they said it had been stopped up the entire time they were there also. The people at the front gate came up with an excuse every time we reported the issue. The lady even flat lied to my husband about knowing about the problem. I reported it on Wednesday directly to her. He spoke to her Thursday morning about it and she said she did not know anything about the problem. They locked the men's bathroom, forcing the men to use the ladies restroom. It was a definite inconvenience. I just think the couple in charge of the camp didn't want to mess with it the way they constantly made up excuses why it wasn't unclogged. The lady was very unfriendly also.

Joan at the front gate is very helpful and friendly. Campsites for RVs are very nice, flat and wide.

Pretty place; roomy sites. Very crowded on weekends but nice on weekdays. Attendants at gate are very nice. The restroom was broken by the February snow storm but the RV sites have water. People are not very diligent about cleaning up after their dogs, but other than that the campground is reasonably tidy, for Texas. A lot of trash around the lake shores and at the boat ramp.

It was a good trip and we love it there we go about 3 or 4 times a year. My little dachshund Lily passed away an hour after getting there this trip so not as good as normally. Plus it was the coldest trip we ever had.
