We love camping at Cedar Ridge. This was our first trip of the year and first with a gate guard in quite awhile. The park volunteers are generally very friendly and have always been helpful. This last trip seemed a little off. With too much unnecessary attention and nitpicking placed on family gatherings and boat owners. And, too little focus on issues like dirt bikes & loud trucks driving recklessly thru the park or what appeared to be a longstanding oversight of pet owners failing to clean-up after their animals. Also, the ramp to the dock has been broken for 9 months, but open for use.

Enjoyed our New Year's Eve camping trip at Cedar Ridge. Our site #49 was great with plenty of space. We were able to enjoy walks with our dogs down to the boat docks. Also enjoy the mornings and evenings watching all the deer.

Our stay was great until all the water froze at the park. Perhaps there could be some measures taken so the faucets would be better protected. As cold as it got this time, I am sure that no matter what was done, the pipes would have frozen as it was record breaking cold. We had to leave one day early but got a refund immediately. Thank you., The only other thing was a lot of trees were damaged and broken and it did not look as if any clean up was attempted.

We enjoy Cedar Ridge because of all the deer and turkey they have. It’s a nice park but we wish that they would open more sites for camping in the winter. I could only get a reservation for a few days and would have loved to stay longer.

The wildlife in this park was wonderful to see. Wild turkey and deer walking by the RV each day were fun to watch. Very quiet park with sites close to the water.
