Pat and Kellie Trotter are the best volunteers you have. They are hard workers and keep that place clean. The others dont do too much.

Great site, grounds are well-keptHOWEVERshowers were closed for repairs, and dump draws closed indefinitely. There were zero alerts or notifications about these closures on rec . gov, nor the campground website. Not sure if wed ever camp here again.

I'd have to give it 4 stars since it's the best COE campground for Belton/Stillhouse (still no FHU's for the entire region). Good shade spot

Clean park with beautiful views. Some of the vegetation is low or close to road edge. Can scratch rigs. Overall I would for sure visit again.

Sites are fairly close together, but it was still quite. I can't say anything about the bathrooms because I didn't use them, but the showers are locked at 10pm. All in all, I'd stay there again.

No complaints. The grass could have been mowed a little more. There was a place to go walk outside the entrance of the park. We saw many deer! Our dog Bailey loved walking around. We didnt find the dog run though but were told there was one.

This was a beautiful park. We had lot #62. We had very good cellular on AT&T and Verizon. It was clean and well tended. Our stay was just after they closed part of the park due to off peak season closures. We were right on the water side with a rough path down to the water's edge. There was a small narrow open field area on the right side of our camper. There were quite a few tents behind the Shower / Restrooms. They would come over the to open field out our front door to view the water which is completely understandable, but if you are wanting a little more isolation this may not work for you. Some negatives to consider based on if you were working from your RV or not that would be important to note:1) There was some kind of military base that were doing day time and night time drills on helicopter runs. I have since learned that about once a month they have helicopter drill weekends. I don't know if there is actually a military base close but it did seem there was.2) As serene and beautiful our view was just outside our door it was an illusion. Just across the water on the other side out of the serene view at 8:00 AM on Wednesday morning a marching band started practicing. 3) Every day we were there, on the other side of the lake out of the serene view was heavy equipment and construction operating.4) The dump station you left the camping area and emptied your tanks, then you drove back into the camping area to exit the campground. There wasn't a way to exit without going back into the campground. That is just how it was.
