Site was well maintained. Restrooms were very clean. Even had toilet paper stocked all weekend. Electrical outlet and water spout worked. Mr. Jimmy who rides around on the Polaris is a really nice guy. Very pleasant and cheerful. He checked on everyone to make sure they are enjoying their stay. Beautiful view and very quiet. I enjoyed it so much I booked the same site for next month.

Site 37 was full of loud partiers on first night. 11:35PM went to find host who went there to quiet them. As soon as he left, as expected, the partiers cranked the music up louder and began shouting insults at my camp site. I ended up sleeping in my pickup truck for relief and safety. The campground host or Corps of Engineers ranger should patrol the park at quiet time. It is obvious to all when campers show up WITHOUT any camping gear and a boom box and disco lights that they are not there to camp but to be a nuisance to other campers. I should be REFUNDED my fee!

We had lot 35. This is the best spot close to the bathroom/shower and not to far from the swimming area. There was a burn ban so we couldn't light the fire pit. The kids really wanted to do smores, so we lit the grill. People around us were friendly. Wish the swimming area was a little bigger. Overall the area is kept clean and We all had a great time. Highly recommend renting/buying an RV or use a portable a/c for those who are using tents. (Especially during the hot summers in TEXAS) I love that this camp area has water, electricity and allows pets!
