No trees is the biggest problem. Campsites need shade. There was NO shade at all. Please, Please plant some trees!!! Also, all the sites needed mowed. It looked terrible and you could tell no one had been taking care of this campground. We had family from out of state camping with us, and it was embarrassing to bring them to a campsite that was in such bad shape. Someone needs to be hired to keep these campsites in better shape.
We were HOT because of no shade and even more uncomfortable because the campground was in such bad shape. Do not think we will ever camp here again!!!!

We stayed close to the water which we enjoyed even though the lake level was low

Westcliff needs a dog park for our pups to run! That field between the restrooms and the sites would be a perfect place to put one. Just a little chain link fencing with a gate would be so nice.

Very clean Park very well maintained excellent views of the lake. Beautiful bluebonnets this time of year throughout the park very large Groves
