I reserved site 5. After I got there the circuit breaker tripped and would not reset. No one was at the gate and both camp hosts were off duty. I said the heck with it and moved to site 9 on my own. I tried to tell the camp host that was on duty the next day but even though the sign said on duty and there were vehicles parked in the drive, no one answered the door. I tried several times to no avail.

The park was very well maintained, and clean. The staff was friendly.I just wished the brush was cut back so you can see the lake and the sunset. I think that would be awesome.

This park was really nice and clean. The restroom facilities were some of the best and cleanest we have seen. There are plenty of spots that have great shade trees. The park staff were very nice and were always driving around making sure everything was running smoothly. The only small negative is that there is a wall of trees and bushes at the edge of the lake that keeps you from seeing the lake in the morning and evening. It would be nice to wake up and see the beautiful lake and wildlife first thing in the morning but you can't due to the wall of trees and bushes. Otherwise, this park is excellent and we highly recommend it.

Nice park. Even quiet during spring break. Easy to access restrooms and showers. Park hosts were attentive to all parts of the campground.

Beautiful park and peaceful. Enjoyed walking around the lake and the park. Camp hosts are friendly. You would never know Belton shopping is less than 10 min away. Dead Fish Grill (restaurant) is right across the dam and provides option for lunch/dinner if you dont feel like making dinner. Also love Miller Springs park for the hiking.

Clean and spacious sites. Great hiking in the park and across the road at the nature center.

The staff was not friendly at all. We had to go find someone when we wanted to use the clubhouse both in the morning and afternoon even though we told them the day before when we wanted to use the clubhouse. There was also bits of trash laying around and stuck in the trees. We also golf carts being driven around the park by kids. Also saw very green rye grass that the host apparently planted around their RV when the rest of the park had dying grass. Our group of 10 RVs will not be returning there.

Beautiful COE park with super friendly hosts that had immaculate sites located by the gate. The sites are mostly leveled, big rig friendly, and come with covered patio, picnic table and fire ring. Bathrooms were clean. The park did need to be mowed and the ants were terrible. This park is located close to Belton and Killeen. We will definitely return to this park.
