This is THE BEST Corps of Engineer Park in the system. The grounds are always well kept. The Park Hosts are always available for us and really care about us. This is a very special place on earth!!!!!! Wayne and Charlotte Allison

We love this campground, its our go to spot. Sites are not too close to each other and everyone is respectful of quiet time. Its pretty peaceful during the daytime too. Close to HEB or Walmart incase you need anything. The only thing we could complain about this particular visit was the restrooms, but normally they are really clean.

The 3 Park Hosts are INCREDIBLE! They keep the park in working order. It is THE best COE park in Texas!!!!!

Site 36 is level, has a grill and firepit, and covered table. neighbors are a little close on the ends but plenty of open space off the door side.

It was one of our better trips. The campsite was clean, grass was cut and most importantly the rest room facility was open for use. The restrooms were also very clean and well taken care of.

We loved our stay here. We were originally in another spot and realized it would be a really tight fit. After speaking with the Park manager, she helped us find another spot and walked me through the internet reservation. Its beautiful and clean and quiet. Perfectly located near the dam. Well be back for sure!

We have always enjoyed our stays at Live Oak Ridge. The camp hosts were all friendly and helpful. They keep the park in excellent condition. We have reservations for October 2022.

Beautiful, well-maintained location on the shore of Lake Belton just north of the dam. I hope to be back.

Live Oak Ridge is a nice park with good facilities and it is conveniently located for the Temple and Killeen area. The facilities were very clean the first time we visited, which was before COVID. This time during the ongoing COVID pandemic, the cleaning is not being done often enough and it shows. We hope that when we return the bathroom cleaning will have returned to the normal schedule. Otherwise, everything was fine for our visit.

Live Oak Ridge Park is a great place for summer camping because of all the trees! Most of the sites have enough trees to help provide shade to help with the Texas summer heat. The grounds are very clean, and the bathrooms are very well-kept. There is a hiking trail just across the main road, and lake access for boating, kayaking or swimming. There is extra parking in various areas so if you have visitors for the day, they have a place to park. Love coming to Live Oak Ridge, and will keep coming back!
