The crushed granite under the picnic area was raked. You could tell great care had been taken to have a clean, clutter free campsite waiting for you.

Enjoyed every minute! Just wished my favorite back camping spots were open. Nice warm showers on very cold days.

Very well kept. Nice and quiet. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. Easy in and out access. There is only one community dump station but there is water and power. I highly suggest you experience this park.

I am relatively new to RVing. I found the staff here to be extremely friendly and helpful! The park itself is amazing - always clean, campsites well-maintained, gorgeous trees (even in the winter!) I’ve never had an issue with power or water. You can access the lake by walking down the boat ramp. Highly recommend

This was our first trip in our new-to-us Casita. We live locally and wanted to do a "check-out" trip for a couple of nights, but not too far from home. It's a lovely park. My Texas Master Naturalist Chapter volunteers there on brush clearing and invasive plant removal projects. The unmanned gate house was a little difficult for us. Since we are new to RV parks, it seemed inappropriate to go up to one of the Host RV porches and knock on the door to get questions answered - none were critical. Also, we loved the shade on our campsite, but realized after we got there that the image on the website was duplicated on several nearby pads, but our wasn't actually as represented. The picnic table was out in the sun quite a ways behind the camper pad, not next to it like in the photo. We enjoyed hiking at Miller Springs Nature Center right across the road - what a treasure! It was an enjoyable stay and a lovely park at Live Oak Ridge!

Nice campground but limited access to lake unless you have a boat. Had 2 washers and 2 dryers with fairly cheap price to do laundry. Hosts do a lot more work than they are contracted to do in an attempt to make campground nicer.

We stayed at Site 13 and 14 end of April. The sites were across from each other. Very nice park, very clean, nice bathroom. Sites are a little closer together then what we usually like but it worked out fine because everybody was very friendly. Great playground for kids. The lake is super clear! We kayaked and fished and could see more than 10 ft down into the water. Didn't catch a lot but did catch a few. Had enough for a fish fry! We want to go back when it's warmer and swim. We walked the trails and saw some amazing views of a river, waterfall, the dam, the lake. Entire family had a blast.

We love Live Oak Ridge Park. It is generally quiet during the week. The restrooms are well maintained. The park is small with some wooded lots and some sunny. Park personnel are always friendly and polite.

I had a great stay at Live Oak Ridge Campground. The facility is top quality and well maintained. Belton Lake is beautiful and lots of walking, running or hiking opportunities are close by.

State or Federal camp grounds should not allow political election signs and flags. That is a conflict of interest!

I would like to see more emphasis on pet owner rules. Too many poop piles and unleashed pets.
