Another outstanding stay at the park. We live only 30 minutes away, so it's a great location for us for a relaxing weekend where we do nothing but veg-out... Great, level site with good breakers and good water pressure. Easy in/out. We have stayed in hundreds of parks, and seriously have not ever had better care from park hosts. From the time you check in until you leave, it's completely 5-star. We love watching the team immediately comb, prep and reset each site as other folks check out. It's like the Ritz-Carlton of parks! Being across from the neat nature walk center and close to the best straight edge razor barber in the area are also nice amenities. Frequently we bring our boat and RV on the same weekend, and the whole place is like a resort for us! Thanks to the staff that make our stays so special!

We loved our time at Live Oak. It was a great hub for visiting San Antonio, Austin and Waco. We enjoyed the local places as well. The bathrooms are not kept very clean, but the grounds are beautiful and pretty well kept. They would be better if they had sewer at the sites. If you want a shaded site, be sure to stay in the campsites just to the right as you enter the park. They are completely shaded and it is a beautiful area of the park. We would have moved there, but they closed it due to budget constraints that shrink contracts in the fall, which is a perfect time to visit. Strange.

This was our first time at Lake Belton & these grounds. We loved it and can’t wait to go back again! Everything was clean, and there was great spacing between all of the sites. The bathrooms were well taken care of.

Some trees overhanging the driveway need trimming to keep from dragging RV rooftops. Also, trim trees to open up view of the lake.

Our site could have used some mowing and the bath houses need to be cleaned more than once a week.

Great park and really enjoy it there. Hosts do an awesome job making sure everyone coming in knows where they are headed and when someone leaves they make sure the sites are ready for the next guest.

The brush is thick and you cant walk through it to get to a restroom that appears close on the map. plan your campsite accordingly to the restroom/showers if you need them.

We encountered one of the rudest park hosts we have ever experienced at this park. It seemed like we couldn’t do anything right for him.

Well managed park! Everything from bathrooms to camp sites was clean and in good shape. Park hosts were friendly and helpful. Access was limited using front gate pass code which I like because it keeps non campers from driving through at late hours. I do wish all COE parks were gated.

Very nice place. The men's bathroom needed more heat. But the shower was nice and hot. Bathrooms very clean. The state parks have begun to provide hand soap to encourage pandemic hand washing. That would be an idea for the Corp's properties.
The fire ring placement was unusual. It was right on the edge of a slope. A group could not gather all the way around the fire. Even one or two people would be unable to move to the other side of the fire if the wind was blowing the smoke the wrong way.

Very quiet park with nice views and full trees. Well spaced, level, and easy to back into. Only complaint was not being able to reach anyone by phone during business hours.

Wish that all Bell County parks were fully open Friday through Sunday as campers are blocked from camping on weekends because they sell out.

The location was very nice and quiet. The other guests onsite were very friendly and sociable. However, the trees completely obstructed the view of the lake. It could be a safety precaution but I think cutting them down would make the experience 10xs better. I definitely suggest this place and I will visit again!
