The campground is GREAT! The experience was wonderful until I had to move from our campsite. The availability calendar showed that the campground was going to be mostly full. However, that was not my experience. This was not the only time I have encountered this phenomenon. I decided to stay one more night. So, I asked if I could stay in the same site. I was told it was reserved. I pointed out how a large number of sites were not occupied. The hosts understood and said they had to hold them for the ones who reserved the site, not knowing whether or not another site would suffice. Other sites were also reserved. But, through the night and the next day, there were no occupants. The reason this happens is there is no incentive to cancel a reservation because there is no refund allowed for cancellation within a prescribed time. Before you write me off, I took a sixty two day camping trip across the country and encountered this time after time. This is the result when a reservation service is so big and so removed from the area they serve. I found hosts were frustrated with the system they had to adhere. There is no latitude for those who are "on the scene" to make logistical decisions to accommodate a localized, fluid situation. That can never be satisfied from a remote location. One of my work experiences was warehousing items for a manufacturing plant. Being able to locate items and account for them was a very big part of the job. However, to accommodate items going out and items coming in, to much control was detrimental. Here we are. Suggestion: Leave it to the states or smaller segments to manage instead of a nationwide network and allow those to access a national network to refer a camper.

We LOVE Seven Points, we just hate that it's hard to get into. After this past trip we noticed how not manicured the sites away from the water are (trees not trimmed, boards loose, boards slippery, boards falling apart and just the plain up keep of the non water sites). Would love to see an update on the facilities and widening of some of the sites so you are not stepping off of cliffs onto the ground (site 55).

Wonderful campsites with water hookups. Clean showers and restrooms. Friendly staff. I wish I had a lakefront site, but that's for my return trip. There were deer grazing in our site. I do wish there had been a campstore.

The park itself was nice and spaced out but the poison ivy and ticks were horrible surrounding and in our campsite.

We were only there for one night. Off the beaten path. Beautiful campground. Lots of space between campsites. All have picnic tables, fire rings, grills and a prep table next to the grill. No sewer hook ups

Sites are clean and well manicured. Shower pressure was great and water was hot. Very quiet at night. Great. Campsite!

We only stayed one night, a halfway point to our destination, but we were impressed with the grounds..all of the sites were large and spacious with exceptionally nice areas for outdoor cooking, fish cleaning and eating/relaxing. We were able to back into our space with no issues and we had great water and electric service. The dump station area was a little tricky, as the space was a little narrow, but the campground staff were extremely helpful in guiding us through easily. Will definitely keep this on our list of places to return for a longer stay.

This was our very best experience at a campground! Spacious campsites, beautiful, natural surroundings, helpful staff and well maintained facilities. We will go back!

We found our campsite very clean and comfortable. The park appears very well maintained, quiet. Just how we like it.
