We were greeted by some very friendly gate attendants when we arrived. The park is small but very nice with great views of the lake. Showers were clean with good hot water but no shower curtains, i think that was because the park was closing in a couple days for the winter. All in all its a very nice campground. Water and electric with a dump station. plenty of room between sites.

The camp hosts were very friendly and greeted me at late arrival with tips and info. It was an off-season stay so the campground wasn't full. It was quiet and peaceful with a beautiful sunset over the lake.

The host were the most rudest ever. I love seven points and my family loves to camp. I will have to think twice before we go back:(

Beautiful and well-maintained campground. The only negative was when, after setting up my tent for my stay the first night and then going back out into town, I returned around 11:30 PM to find the gate to get into the campground closed. After turning right around, heading back into town and getting a hotel room for $160, I returned to the campground the next morning and as I passed the checkpoint booth, I explained what had happened to the 2 people working. They merely replied that the gate wasn't locked and that it is closed at 10 PM every night to keep out the 'look-ee-loos'. Since I don't like opening gates I didn't expect to find closed, I told them I wish I had known this in the form of a sign on the booth or on this website. They didn't offer any explanation or apology. Weird. Would love the $160 I didn't even have back (had to use a credit card).

Seven Points Campground is a perfect getaway on the edge of Percy Priest Lake. A COE campground, it is clean and well kept by a friendly staff with roomy sites and a beautiful view of the water. Even though you feel as if you are far from civilization, you are very near Hermitage, TN where you can find grocery stores, eateries and even a hospital with a wonderful emergency room. You will certainly enjoy your stay at Seven Points Campground

The campsite is very nice, but there were a number of things that were disappointing. We were told that we couldn't bring firewood from outside the campground, but when we checked in they said we could go buy it from a truck that was on the side of the road before the campground., which was very expensive and because the check-in time is so late, we didn't have time to go back for firewood. All of the other campers brought their own firewood and if I had known I would have as well, instead, we struggled to find firewood all weekend that was wet and very difficult to burn. I also think that 3 pm for check-in is too late in the day and noon for checkout is much too early, we hardly had any time to pack up on Sunday. My biggest complaint is that people are able to reserve campsites for every weekend that don't end up using them. I think that they need to find a system that is more efficient so everyone can have a chance to use the campground.
