Very difficult sites with a large 5th wheel. Sites are mostly back in, however there are some pull through sites that are not noted on the website, so check YouTube for site by site reviews. All sites are off of a single lane loop with ditches on both sides of the road. There is a culvert ridge on each side of the site entrance which adds to the difficulty getting in and out. The campground is great, very peaceful and well maintained. The host was great as well.

Great park, close to Nashville. We were in site #12, nice and level for our 32 foot Cass C A bit of curve to back into, but my wife had no problem as she always backs the rig into our sites. No issues with Verizion as well. We will be going back to this park and hopefully can get a water front site.

I arrived at 12:15 PM with a confirmed reservation and was told by the attendant check-in was at 3:00 PM. He directed me to a grocery store parking area 5-6 miles away through residential areas to wait. I explained that I knew the check-in and check-out time, but I had tickets for an event in the Northern section of Nashville. With the road construction and traffic in the area I could possibly be late for the event if I waited until 3:00 PM. I am 85 years old and I had just driven from Illinois towing a travel trailer. I asked if there was a place in the park where I could park and wait. He again said I had to go to the grocery store parking lot, but he might be able to check me in at 1:30. I returned at 1:30 PM and was checked-in. I noticed after entering the park there were many open sites and a large parking lot at the swimming area where if I could have easily parked. I was greatly disappointed in the lack of compassion by the attendant. I have stayed at many COE campgrounds and never encountered an attendant with the such arrogance and follow-the-rule attitude. Another great COE park. Very spacious, wooded sites with lake views from most all. Great base for exploring Nashville, only 20 minutes to Broadway district. Nice small beach, and playground if you need it. Great hosts. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a great find for us on our spur of the moment trip to Florida. The sites are all very long and do take a little maneuvering to get into. But we really enjoyed the shade from all the trees and the easy walk to the lake. We didn’t swim, but the water looked nice! It was also an easy drive to downtown Nashville. We’d definitely stay here again!
