Small, cozy campground. Sites and restroom were very clean. Steel that runs nearby provides nice ambient sound. Site 7 is large and set back, but if someone is in site 6 in front of it, I could see it being a challenge to get in and out of.

This is a small campground with no potable water and a single vault toilet available (there was a small creek running nearby when we went, though I am not sure if it runs all year). It is located a short drive from the gorgeous Sierra Buttes lookout point trailhead, as well as a number of small lakes. The short road through the campground and the parking spots at each site are unpaved; some of the sites are quite close to each other. There was no host or campground caretaker onsite, nor was there any firewood for sale, but I managed to collect enough downed wood nearby for two nights.

This area is frequented by dirt bikes and off-road vehicles, both on paved roads and fire roads, which can be very noisy and aggressive, though our neighbors were polite and quiet at night. We enjoyed our stay here very much, but the other campgrounds in the area looked preferable to me.
