My wife came here for years as child, and weve since been taking our family for almost 30 years and have always loved our time at Boca. However, this visit was not nearly up to par. The camp host never once made contact with us, not even to verify our reservation, and especially not to monitor and control the noise that went on until after 1am. And the site for the host was over run with junkhuge plastic tubs and all kinds of big trashlooked like a junkyard, to be honest. The bathrooms were atrocious; bags of trash on the floors and swarms of flies , especially when you opened the commode, they just kept coming up for days to where we had to drive out of the springs to find one we could use. This was our first visit back after having missed the last three years due to health issues and my wife was looking forward to it more than anything, and although we still believe that Boca is a beautiful, peaceful place, we ended up leaving two paid days because we just couldnt justify having to keep driving so far to use the restroom or deal with the upcoming crowd of new campers over the weekend that for sure were going to be a party crowd, that would have no host holding them to the noise rule. Not fair to families wi the kids who need to sleep before midnight. Not sure we will be coming back anytime soon, which is sad to say because my wife was raised coming here with her family every single weekend and weve made it ours and our extended families place to go. I pray these comments will be taken to heart and not as an angry customer, and that the issues mentioned are addressed and resolved. Thank you.

Boca Spring is an absolute hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning natural beautycrystal-clear spring water, peaceful pine forests, and breathtaking mountain views in every direction. The campsite was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out with plenty of space and privacy between sites.

Access to the toilets is limited due to the distance from the camp sites near the spring. Probably doesnt effect younger people but for older folks its a long hike back to camp, up the hill while on oxygen. The area is spacious, the sites are very large but poorly marked. The map attached to the reservations page is misleading and the scale is meaningless. The host is helpful and friendly. The site rules state that dirt bikes and atvs are not allowed to roar through the campground. This is not posted well enough, and people in the upper campsites have to deal with clouds of dust etc.. Compared with other other campgrounds this one is great but be prepared to do a little boondocking for toilets and culinary water. We are coming back soon. That is if the smoke clears a bit.
