Beautiful area to camp in! We can't wait to go back! Reservations made it easy to plan. I love that they are adding new corrals to the campsites too. Please add more if possible! That was a tremendous help for our group. However, I would prefer that the corrals come with your campsite (not a first come, first serve basis) so you know that you have a place to put your horses and that you won't have someone else walking through your camp to care for theirs. Currently, there are not enough corrals compared to campsites - assuming a minimum of 2 horses per campsite. While it is a horse camp, we found that many of the campsites are not truck and trailer friendly either. There are some trees that need to be removed for better accessibility (especially for site 1 and site 6 when hauling a 3H or longer gooseneck trailer - watch your turning radius!!!). Unless you are tent camping, some sites are very angled. For anyone planning to sleep in their trailers, we would recommend bringing blocks to level out trailers. The information center could use an update to the camp map, as well as information about the equestrian trails available. Marking a degree of difficulty, mileage and elevation gain for trails would be helpful too as many in our group included beginners and youth that are not highly skilled or ready for long distances, but also people that have never been to this campsite and don't know where to go in general. After the group left the next day, there was a trail my husband and I found that would have been extremely risky had the group come across it. It started out great but changed to a technical, narrow (cliff like) trail. Not wide enough to turn around or get off a horse. Had we been with most of the group, especially kids, beginners or even a novice horse, that trail could have been disastrous. Overall though, love the camp! Thank you so much for maintaining and designating an area where equestrians can camp and enjoy nature!

Little Lasier Meadows is a horse camp and yet non-equestrians had reserved at least 4 of the campsites and taken up the one first-come-first-served site as well. At least one of our equestrian friends was unable to reserve a spot because of the non-equestrians.

we love this camping location there are so few areas that you can camp with your horses.
The riding is great and our spot is always reserved without any problems when we
get there.
