Beautiful and peaceful campground during the week. I've been here on a Saturday night and it's just as beautiful but maybe not as peaceful. Love coming here and visiting Onion Valley meadow down the road. There are so many private swimming spots besides the obvious one if you hike a little out of your way.

Beautiful area. I had to leave early so left some firewood for the next campers. The stars are magnificent.

A perfect place. Very quiet and the waterfall is good fun.

Overall we had a really great time. The campsites were spread out enough and there was a lot of shade. The end of the hike to the waterfall was a little daunting with two young children, but we made it and it was worth it. The running potable water water was cold and very fresh. Be prepared for tons of mosquitoes. We were not and got eaten pretty badly. T-Mobile had zero phone service but limited signal was available about a mile away.

Campground was nice and quiet. River runs alongside campground and was very nice. As another reviewer have mentioned, our campsite was not marked reserved and there were people camping there when we arrived. Other campers mentioned the same. This was frustrating to experience after pre-planning/reserving/paying and driving several hours.
