Great campground, creek running next to our spot (#2) was relaxing and helped us sleep. Fun swimming hole across the main road. Definitely coming back!

Lovely setting, quiet and secluded though our site was near the road. We enjoyed being right bext to the creek. Highly recommend!

I was hesitant at first to reserve here due the the minimal reviews and photos but was a great choice and will be coming back again for sure! Great area along the river, camping site 002 is great if you want to be right if front of the river it’s more on the shallow side as it’s about shin high but very beautiful sound to hear as you sleep. depth of the river varies, if you walk thru campsites 9/10 for about quarter mile/half mile you’ll find the bigger deeper pools and larger waterfalls definitely a must see(dog was able to walk thru to these deeper pools with us) These bigger river pools have jumps that go from 40ft to 10ft jumps, fun jumping the smaller ones. Lots of bugs as expected, but very dog friendly campsite which I appreciated, clean bathrooms in the mornings. Campsite had more than enough room for the 6 of us that came. (10 person tent and small 3-person tent was able to fit w/ room for more tents) and was spacious from neighbors. No phone service, make sure to bring everything as the closest store is about a 20-25 minute drive, due to the long road of potholes BEWARE of those forsure. It’s about 6 miles long, overall wonderful experience.

This place is stunning! Beautifully kept, nice and tucked away, but close enough to the highway if you need to get back to civilization. I had to leave at the end of the second afternoon instead of staying the third night, because it was supposed to snow pretty hard that night. But, otherwise, it was just beautiful to walk around, enjoy nature, and not have cell service! I'll definitely be back here again. Aim for a spot near the entrance if you want some solitude. The loop portion is somewhat crowded, in my opinion. Enjoy, I know you will!

(PS: if you go about a half mile up the road from the entrance of the campsite toward I-80, you will have basic cell service on AT&T and T-Mobile. Just in case you need some basic communication, you're not far away from it!)

This is a gem of a campground. The park staff clean the bathrooms daily and there is amazing potable water available. You have to provide your own firewood as they don't sell it. The swimming holes can get really crowded and some of the jumping off of rocks can be a bit hard to watch but this is an amazing place. We had wonderful neighbors and quiet nights while we were there.
