Great campground. Sites seem mostly well spaced out and some have wonderful views and the sounds of the river. If you plan to paddle, it's worth noting where to put in compared to where the waterfalls are located. Dragged our camper up from Minneapolis, and can say the gunflint trail is increasingly bumpy the last 20 miles or so. Stopping in Grand Marais for food is fun, but gets crowded/parking with a camper can be hard. Campground is a winner, will be back.

Campsite #1 was amazing with access to the Lake and a great rock to sit to watch the sunrise and sunset.

Campsite was awesome, and was clean upon arrival. Be prepared for lots of pine sap on site 1. Worth it!
It was fall and concessionaire was short staffed, so hard to reach by phone, but service good when reached. Great time there in fall 22.

I love this campground but it has gone down hill as of late. The campsite had litter and debris and the bathrooms were not attended other than dropping off toilet paper. Garbage bins were over loaded. Hopefully just a snafu in operations!

The area is so beautiful. We had a wonderful view of the lake from our campsite. Canoeing and kayaking was great.

Trails end campground is on of our favorite spots for rustic camping ??! The views are gorgeous!
