Clean bathrooms, private sites.

Possibly the best campsite I've ever had! Great overlook of the lake. Sites are well-spaced apart, and there are only three sites on this cul-de-sac (however, you can still hear the noisier people in other parts of the campground at night).

So beautiful and well maintained. Toilets are clean and the sites all have lake views. Hiking at Magnetic Rock and visiting Chik Wauk Nature Center are must do’s. Paddling out to Sag is great if the winds aren’t howling. We saw a moose on the Gunflint Trail on the way up. Always lots of wildlife and birds.

This is a terrific campground with sites overlooking a lake, a river, and boat landings. Voyageurs Outfitters is just a few miles down the road and they offer all kinds of boat and canoe rentals. Beautiful place with tons to explore. A MUST is a a dip in the river linking two lakes; it's accessible past the sites 18 and 19.

Great, understated campground. clean facilities. Definitely encourage you to rent a canoe in one of the numerous nearby lakes, or Vogayger Canoe Outfitters up the road. Definitely no cell service available as other reviews mentioned.
