Wonderful experience at Flour Lake. Highly recommend driving or riding down to the Poplar Haus Restaurant as well.

Great place for camping, fishing, & relaxing. We had numerous Snow Shoe rabbits hanging around. Our only complaint one day after the holiday weekend we had to go to golden eagle lodge to ask for toilet paper, out house was out for 2 days and then again at the end of our stay it was once again out for 2 days who knows maybe longer! When we went to ask how often they service the campground, they said everyday, and I told the girl that the outhouse had been out of Toilet paper for 2 days and she said well that is problematic! Duh! Try wiping without it! I thought the 1st time I would not say anything but then it happened again in the same week. I believe that when they service the campground daily that this would be routine, not just collecting the money, We are coming back in September of 2022 and hope that this won't be a problematic issue again. Thanks.

I was using a walker at the time so not able to utilize much of the area. Did go to a nearby lake so the kids could swim. They later told me there was such an area at Flour Lake. Campgrounds were all full because of the activity at the National Monument and Pow Wow.
