Camp No Sleep. We stayed here in early August and since it is so close to the highway, every passing car going over the rumble strips woke us up. They also started winter storm repair operations with heavy machinery nearby at 3am. Our day in Yosemite was pretty unpleasant due to the lack of sleep. Even if the forestry operations are complete, the highway with the rumble strip in the center divider will always be there, so don't reserve here unless you're a *very* heavy sleeper. As for positives: The camp ground hosts were very kind and there was good blackberry picking for a tasty breakfast.

Very close to Yosemite. Perfect for what we needed!

This is a beautiful campground, the sites are so far apart that you can’t see your neighbor. The sides are so big, probably the biggest I’ve ever seen. It is extremely close to Yosemite. The one thing that I would want to caution about is that the roads are dirt roads and some of them are steep. The camp sites are also dirt. So for me, who was in a 15 passenger van, I had a hard time backing into the site. I was also really worried about if I was going to be able to get out of the campsite. I wouldn’t book this again in a rental car, especially not a 15 passenger van. If I was in my own SUV which four-wheel-drive I would be thrilled to be here. I talked to somebody else who said they just had a little Mazda or something and they had no trouble there. I would say bigger rigs could have trouble.

This campground was beautiful and so close to Yosemite entrance. Will definitely be going there again.

Very quiet and peaceful. Easy access to Yosemite. Pit toilets very clean. Water available. Ant infestation in our camp (1) at one tent location. Bear box in sun all day so don't put any food in there that will melt (chocolate) or spoil (carrots). Beware of poison oak all around. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. We drove into the valley each of our 4 day's stay, leaving camp just after 6AM, arriving at Swinging Bridge just after 7AM missing traffic and construction delays. Spent the day hiking and then returned to camp about 7PM each evening for a leisurely dinner. Mosquitoes were minimal and non-existant once the sun set. I would stay here again this time of year to enable easy access to Spring hiking in Yosemite.
