Campsite was wonderful. Clean and not too busy. Some noise from either frogs or crickets during the night but we managed to sleep well anyway. Alan who manages the site is great and was very friendly and helpful. He also went through some extra effort to make sure restrooms and camp sites were clean and nice to use. Much appreciated!

The park is just 10 minutes from town and across from Safeway grocery store is a discount grocery that was very affordable, the campground itself is on a reservoir and is crystal clear and odor free, no bugs no mosquitoes heaven on earth! Be prepared to haul in water and you will have a great time with a great host. We took a dip in the reservoir daily to keep clean and the fish was jumping, eagles swoop down and catch fish, Coyotes howl at night and made for a lovely time, we stayed 2 weeks could have easily stayed longer with so much natural beauty in the area it is a home run, tent site 13 is the best.

Extremely well prepped campsites. Cleanest and nicest smelling pit toilets I've ever experienced. The dirt at our campsite had been freshly raked before our arrival and a map was placed on the picnic table (under a rock to keep it from blowing away). The camp host is doing an amazing job.

Everything about the three location/sites I had reserved were amazing. The only thing I washed for was a recyclable bin.

We were at a campsite with maybe 30% shade, which we noted applied to most of the sites. At first we appreciated how easy it was to spread out onto the land outside the site, made it feel spacious! But then we saw that we were surrounded by short, tall, bushy poison oak and poison sumac. It was everywhere. So there wasn’t much relief for shade, since that often meant being in the areas with poisonous plants. It wasn’t even a blisteringly hot weekend, since it was the first days of May! But the toilets were clean and the water pump worked great and the other campers/sites were respectful and very quiet. Definitely rustic, off the path, and an easy distance to Yosemite.

Used this campground as a base for visiting Yosemite National Park and I have no complaints. 20 min drive to Big Oak Flat entrance and about 1 hour from the valley floor. As mentioned, they have a fire-pit with grill grate, picnic table, and large bear-safe food locker at each campsite. I'm not sure what the exact measurements of the locker is, but it very easily held a large cooler and large plastic bin with plenty of space on all sides around. Bathrooms are cleaned twice a day (with the comforting noticeable scent of bleach haha) and I never had an issue with toilet paper running out. The layout of each campsites vary greatly. We stayed at Site 10 and felt the site had more privacy than the others, as it is on the end, surrounded by trees and blocked in by your car. Tent area was more or less flat and you had a nice clearing through the trees to watch the sky if you so desire.
