The young man that checked us in was a perfect gentleman with professional courtesy Thank You The old vault on the hill north side of lake needs attention. While in my boat fishing, numerous people stopped to use. The look of discussed has evident. Sad

Beautiful site!! Lots of nature happening all around you with a lake backdrop! Only problem is they make you back into the site making your entrance door on the opposite side and the fire pit too close to your camper or vehicle. Still, highly reccomend the location (if you can find it lol)!

Had the campers next to us had to follow the rules we would have had a good time. They had a HUGE 5th wheel and 2 large tents with a few smaller tent/canopy things. Not only did they have all that they ran their generator passed 11 each night. Their tents were no more than 10 feet from our pop up camper. Over all it was a very crowded area that over flowed in to our space.

Cold Brook is our favorite local camping spot. We always go at least once a year and this time we have at least 3 trips planned. Love this spot and this lake.

The space was lovely. Had everything I needed. So dark at night I slept amazing.

First of all this place was rather difficult to find given the construction around town. And when we got there it wasnt quite clear where we should be, and it just didnt seem like it was the safest place to spend the night. It might have been fine but we didnt want to take a chance given wed had a couple of other bad experiences at similar facilities. So we decided to go to Wind Cave instead. We cant really speak to the campground overnight, but the grounds were well-maintained and very nice.

Water was great for swimming. The kids caught plenty of sunfish from shore. Adults not as lucky.
