what a beautiful place. Some of the sites have beach, others a rock wall. There is a public beach. We will be back for sure!

We loved this Army Corps Park on Hartwell lake. The pull thrus are huge & next to the beautiful quiet lake. We walked 10 yards from our spot to the lake for great fishing. Lovely waking up and seeing a lake view. The closest city is 5 miles away with Lots of restaurants and grocery stores. The park is gated and closed at 10pm. Firewood and Ice at entrance. Each site has electric and water. Dump station and Large trash containers near entrance/exit. Multiple bathrooms/showers located with in the park. We have a 43 foot 5th wheel with 5 slides and had so much room. We have added this to our favorites.

We fell in love with this campground and so did our children ! Its peaceful and beautiful . We didnt have any problems with ants , flies or bats like we have at other campgrounds . No annoying personnel riding by every hour checking on people and bothering you . And all the other campers were very polite as well ! All around good experience and we will be coming back a lot!

This was our 2nd camping trip, we enjoyed the campsite #28 and walked through the campground for future camping sites. We met the park ranger named Jerry when we were leaving at the dump station and he was so nice, gave us a lot of useful information. We felt very safe during our stay and have two more trips scheduled. The only thing was it would be nice to have showers at all the restrooms. Looking forward to our next stay.

The weather was very nice which helps a lot. We had a very nice and clean camp spot and was very quiet, the neighbors were all very respectful which was great. I wish the campground was open all year.

Pro: most camp sites on the water, good distance between sites, & very very clean restrooms.Con: no soap in restrooms & tornado damage still apparent because lack of trees.
