Granted, it was the end of the season, but we still got a great feel for the park. The campsites were nicely spaced, the restroom and showers were well designed and clean. The park was very clean, especially considering there had been storms recently which took out multiple trees. The water was very clean and the swimming area very appealing. We would definitely choose this park again if we happen to be back in that area. We love the COE campgrounds. Always a good choice.

A few years ago it was necessary for the Corps to cut many of the trees down around the campground resulting in a serious loss of shade and privacy. I'm happy to say the remaining trees and filling out and many new trees have been planted. Many areas have been leveled and seeded, so it doesn't look like a clear cut anymore. The sites could use some work, many that I saw were in need of a load of gravel and some minor leveling work, not serious enough to cause problems however.

Beautiful sunsets over the water, not very much shade so we were thankful it was a little cooler. Summer would be very hot.

Love this park but my last trip was not good because of ants. They were so bad that we had to leave early

campground is at the top of my list. It's well kept, bath houses are clean and in good working order. I always enjoy my stay at this campground

Campers before me left some acid out for ants big piles of it.This stuff was harmful to pets so i went to gate attendant to see if we could get cleaned up. Was told had no one to clean but attendant brought down a shovel and rake and give to me and he sit on golf cart while i got it up.I didn't like this very much should not have been my problem.

Great spacing between sites, views to die for, quiet, surreal, and So very peaceful

Besides that, who wouldn’t wanna wake up to morning coffee with a lake front view

Bring ant spray to go around everything. We had a great time after we took care of those. The grandkids had a great time. Well be back.
