This is certainly not our first experience at Springfield, but each time we remember why we keep coming back. We especially appreciate the friendly paid staff who, from check in to check out and all during, make the campers feel welcome and secure. The beautiful campsites are well maintained and the views on almost all sites make it a pleasure to take in your surroundings.

Springfield is a nice campground. There could be better access to the water on some sites, wifi would be nice of course but I will go again.

The campground and bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. I spent one night in the middle of the week and it was very quiet and peaceful.

We really enjoyed our time there, although the ant's we're terrible this year. Did my usual things to keep them at bay, but we fought them everyday. To the point where I was ready to go.

Great site with wonderful views. Easy access to the water to swim or float. Pretty private but getting in and out did somewhat crowd on pull thru next to us. We knew who that was so it worked out well but dont know about backing in if a large rig and car were already there with guests we dont know.

There was a 15 year old a the swimming area and he was picking on the little kids they didn't have any adults there I was over to the side with my kids thank you we love Springfield

This was our 3rd time to Springfield. It has always been one of our favorites because the sites are private and most on the water. However this trip had some problems. The grass around our campsite was knee high and clearly had not been cut in some time. The site was also completely infested with ants. By the 3rd day our camper was infested as well and we had to empty it out and treat it. We were very careful not to leave food or trash out. My kids were covered with at least 20 ant bites each. I realize its nature but it has to be enjoyable as well. We have never had these issues our other 2 visits so Im not sure why it was so bad this past time. But it was bad Im not sure if we will be back.

We were not able to get into our spot due to someone from the next camp blocking our drive space. It was supposed to be shared drive. No trees. Had to take an overflow sight which was not as nice as what we had reserved.
