Easy and friendly check in. Spacious sites all on waterfront. Electric and water hookups were excellent. And best of all a bunch of happy campers.

Anderson SC is 15 minute drive with most any shopping needs.

To have been told we couldn't bring our electric scooters with us, there was a bunch of people riding the same thing around the campground. Very disappointing. Other than that it was a nice campground.

Very clean large campsite Good shade in the AM good lake access and view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The shower houses were clean but like all others in 90 degree weather a hot house. We would recommend this campground if you have children there is a great beach and play areas. Overall we found Springfield very relaxing and hope to return one day.

3rd year camping on site 60. I believe only for sites are not on Lake front. That said I feel that all the sites are good and would feel comfortable in any of them.
2 years ago there were some trees clear cut from a forested area in campground. That area nel has lots of small saplings growing. Maybe in a few more years it will start to resemble the forest it once was.
At night the entrance gate is locked at 10 p.m. till 7:00 a.m. The parking lot is behind the gate so if you choose to arrive late from a night in town you park on the road. I would think it would be smarter to have the gate at the gatehouse so parking lot was accessible to park in. Parking on road one side as white markers preventing you from parking in a person's grass. The other side can hold maybe 3 cars without too much interference. Poor planning in my opinion if they're going to actually lock people out. It's not a big deal I to prefer to park in the parking lot rather than a longest edge of the road. Each visit we go into Greenville to visit friends and fell to get back before 10.
