I am typically not one to write a bad review but we did have some issues at this campground. When we arrived there was a man with a fire in our campsite. We told him that we had reservations and he told us his friend had left without him and he asked us for some camp thing. There was no host so we called the number for Recreation.gov to get another site. All were booked and they told us we could call the sheriff, we were not going to do that. Luckily he finally left. As we walked around there was toilet paper scraps at several of the sites and behind the toilets where people had decided not to use vaulted toilets. There are only two toilets and during the weekend we had to wait to use them and they ran out of toilet paper. Under our site description it mentions there is potable water, but there is no running water at this campground. Also, the sites are all very close to highway 101 so you can hear the traffic noise day and night. The best part was the proximity to the river which was a great place to Kayak and SUP.

Sites are very open, so not a lot of privacy, and the road is nearby so there is some noise. Overall, a nice little campground though.
