The campground was packed with campers and day-use enthusiasts. Both of our sites were very exposed with limited privacy. Numerous campers were using generators. If you are looking for solitude, privacy or quiet, I would recommend camping elsewhere. On the brights side, the river canyon is beautiful.

Good spot to travel out to the coast from. Nice circle area for kids to ride bikes and play

We really enjoyed our stay at site 15. It’s a public-view (not private) spot and we waved at everyone walking and biking toward the boat launch and enjoyed the sounds of the river. There were two vault toilet restrooms nearby that were very clean. Management was friendly and circled around the grounds several times a day. It was a spot that held its own in a destination and had the bonus of being 20 min from the coast. While campfires were not allowed in most of the surrounding areas, they were allowed at this campground and the host had firewood for sale @ $7/bushel. There were sites that were more private on the other side of the campground. Road noise was minimal and the loop format was perfect for a little ones to scooter and bike. Blackberry made our return-to list and we look forward to our next visit!

Quiet fabulous small campground. Far enough from the beach to be away from the bustle but close enough to go

This is a nice quiet campground with many large campsites. It has areas of big tall fir trees and green space for playing outdoor games. The camp hosts were so nice. They are very proactive and take good care of the campground. Since our stay there was near the end of August, the river was too low for kayaking, but still nice for swimming on a hot afternoon. Between 30-40 minutes drive away each, we spent time in Yachets, Seal Rock and Beaver Creek State Park.
