Less campsite, more ATV track with camp spots carefully nestled over blind crests. Ended up being unworkable, we went elsewhere

4X4 Vehicle is REQUIRED!! Nowhere on this site does it say, but you are not going to be able to camp here without an off-road vehicle. We arrived late, around 10pm, planning to hike across the sand to set up camp (we don't have a 4X4). The camp host told us we are not allowed to park in the (HUGE, empty) parking lot. The only way for us to camp there was to drive 4 miles back to Winchester Bay, park our car, and hike the 4 miles back. We ended up camping on the side of a random dirt road about an hour away (past midnight at this point) because of this ridiculous policy—and a failure to clearly state the policy on the campground and campsite description pages. Oh, and he said we were the *fourth* group he sent home that day for the same reason! Hope they at least give us a full refund.
