Campground host was very nice and flexible as we had changed to make. Very grateful even though there was too much rain!

We absolutely loved Wapiti campground! Stunningly beautiful location, private and perfectly laid out campsites and a great launching point into the East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. We spent one night at Wapiti, in a spot right on the river, and then drove to Yellowstone lake and then onto Cooke City. The camp host at Wapiti is a super friendly guy who offered to provide us with a weather report and other information before we left. Would stay there again!

My camper didn’t fit in the site. The host was kind to let us find another place. We didn’t last long there as the site stunk like pee. I am not saying it was the whole campsite, but the one we chose.

Only spent one night since we were passing through, but we were surprised to find such a scenic and beautiful place to hunker down for the evening. We will reserve a few more nights next time for sure.
