Very well maintained campground. Vault toilet the cleanest I've ever seen. Each site is nicely screened from the view of neighbors. Would definitely visit again.

The one pit toilet in the electric section was unusable. I complained to Rangers, but nothing was done while we were there. Also, a ranger woke us up on first morning stating we needed to pay. We had already paid, and had proof. He was quite belligerent. Would not stay there again. 7th

This was our maiden voyage in our new RV and our first reservation.gov campground experience. The campground is situated in trees away from the road, so the road noise isn't very apparent. It also has lovely views of the rocks above the river. I was expecting that the river would be easier to access from the sites, but one had to either bushwhack through bushes, or walk down the road to the fishing access area where there is a great walking bridge over the river. The host was also very friendly and informative. The only issue that we had was that there was a swampy area directly behind our campsite and so at night the mosquitoes were plentiful and fierce. We had to put on a lot of bug spray in order to sit outside. Other sites away from the swampy area might be less buggy. Since we have a hard sided vehicle and don't really need RV hook-ups every night, we might explore some of the campgrounds closer to Yellowstone Park next year.

Camp Host, Sylvia, was terrific -- informative and friendly but not pushy. Lots of experience and enthusiasm for her work. Camp was clean, bathrooms were clean, electric worked fine. Great experience despite heavy rain, wind and hail the first night. Would have stayed longer if we could.

Very nice and peaceful campground. Sites are nicely spaced with ample shade. Vault bathrooms are kept clean. Plenty of mosquitoes though but we survived .Not too far from the east entrance of Yellowstone, which is about an hour away from Old faithful. We did day trips to Yellowstone and the Grand Teton. Enjoyed a rodeo show in the town of Cody about 30 miles east of the campground. Plenty of restaurant and shopping options.Great horse back rides at Absaroka (pronounced ABSOKA) ranch, 20 minutes west of the campground. The best ride we've ever had. Worth a try!Camp host Harold and his beloved wife Kim made us feel at home. The were super nice and treated us like family, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated your hospitality guys...

Arrived at campground (after an 8 hour detour around Yellowstone National Park) only to be greeted by a closed and locked gate with a sign stating the campground was closed. No one notified us ahead of time of the closure. We had to find last-minute alternative accommodations for the night.

Nice campground equipped with bear box for all food, trash, etc. Easy to find. Next to the river with nice hiking trails. Well maintained bathrooms and camp sites. We enjoyed our stay.

This campground is an excellent place to stay if you are visiting Yellowstone and cannot get a spot in the Park. The Camp Hosts were great, friendly and very helpful. The campground itself was spotless. The bathrooms were clean and stocked daily. The camp spots are large and far enough from each other so you do not feel like you are camping on top of each other. The only thing I would say, there was a trailer that kept his LED string lights on all night so if you were close to his spot you had lights on all night. Maybe there should be a time limit on lights. I would come back to this campground.

This was a beautiful campground, with a easy walk to the water where our pups could play. We also checked out just a skip up the road the elk campground had an excellent hike along the river.

This is a great campground. Ideally located between Cody and Yellowstone Park, with great views and fishing right there.
