Evergreens provide privacy between many of the sites. Quit area situated in a canyon. No bears seen by us in early October.

Typical forest service campground, close to Yellowstone

half of the campground was closed due to recent rains which also closed yellowstone park. several of the sites, including the one we were to stay on had significant damage. Camp Host was working by hand to restore sites and redirected us to one he had completed. He had determined to service as many campers as possible. I comment his work and attitude as one of the best camp hosts we have encountered. they also had spotless and odorless toilets. I was a great location not too far from Cody and close to Yellowstone

Arrived during flooding. Campground host was on top of it, evacuating all campers in a timely manner.

This is a nice campground next to the Shoshone River and among some pretty Cottonwood trees with Juniper and Pine also. Only 2 negatives were the campground is a bit old by Wyoming standards as the picnic tables are in disrepair and the pull in for our space (#22) was a backwards layout for our camper door as our door faced the road not the campsite. Other than that the vault toilets were clean and paper was well stocked. There were water hydrants all over the place so you didn't have to walk far to fill a bucket. The hosts were very friendly and hardworking, much thanks for that! Overall a very nice campground.

BEAR BOXES PROVIDED. WE SAW DEER, BUFFALO AND ELK AT THIS CAMPGROUND! IN THE CAMPGROUND ITSELF! NICE QUIET SPOT WITH PICNIC TABLES, GRILL, TOILET AND WATER NEARBY. TRASH ALSO NEARBY. ALONG A BEAUTIFUL RIVER. NO AT&T CELL SERVICE. ABOUT 22 MILES FROM YELLOWSTONE EAST GATE.

Really nice. Spacious campsite, with the eating/cooking area offset from the tent area. Near water so be prepared for bugs. Was really nice to walk up to the little bridge and watch the water in the morning. We were warned of bears at the campsite, but took appropriate precautions and had no problem. Person running the site was great and very welcoming. Wouldve liked to see better enforcement of smoking ban, as there were a lot of smokers at some of the RVs, and as someone with asthma it was unpleasant to have it waft into my tent. Sites are far enough apart though that it wasnt a huge issue, and with only one person (that we saw) monitoring things, I imagine its hard if people dont follow the rules. Overall a quiet and pleasant camp ground.
