Made a reservation online for 2 nights. Showed up to the campground (2+ hr drive) and our reserved spot had another camper already set up at it. This camper was very nice and said that there was no reserved sign on the site, so they paid for it and had been there for one night already. I attempted to find the camp host and find out if another site was available or what we could do to remedy the problem. I spent multiple hours checking in at the site to try and find out if another spot was available (I didnt want the same thing to happen and set up somewhere just to have someone show up later in the evening that had actually reserved it as it appeared the reservation tags werent being updated and placed on the sites). I wasted our whole first afternoon not being able to get set up and never saw the host that day or for the whole weekend. Telephone number on the check in board was useless as it was Friday and the office was already closed for the weekend. Nice campground with flush toilets and water access a walk or short drive away, but disappointed in the management of the reservation system
