I really loved this campsite, so beautiful, serene, and majestic. There is no access to the lake, but the overall scenery is still beautiful and relaxing. It's a short drive to the lake and other places if you want to hike or swim; so plan ahead and accordingly. I really had an amazing time here and thoroughly enjoyed the campsite.

I am an at risk population so precautions during COVID-19 are very important to us. Arrival 9:30pmThis campsite was beautiful and perfect! We drove down from Seattle for a road trip down to SoCal. This site was our first night and we were so spoiled FOR SURE. This place really set the bar high. The only negative feedback I have on this site would be to provide some kind of map upon arrival. The loops were confusing and we had to circle around 2 or 3 times before going down the right way. We arrived around 9:30pm so the sun was already down upon set up. We could pull RIGHT up to the site and the ground was beautifully flat and soft making it perfect for pitching a tent. I got the fire going on a very well built fire structure. It had a BBQ grate on the top for easy cooking as well. Tons of dry firewood and pinecones around for easy fire buildingThe bathrooms could have used a facelift for sure but we saw workers cleaning it frequently. Though, the bathrooms do NOT have soap so you have to bring your own. Due to COVID-19 I was very nervous to use the public bathrooms but there is enough space that you can privately pee outside if needed. There is a train SO close by which is very cool to see at nighttime but if that might scare you, this site is NOT for you. The train keeps the animals away though so if that's something you care about this would be a perfect site. Overall, this site is fantastic and WAY bigger than it seems. There were a lot of people at this campground but the spacing is so well, you feel isolated in your site. Just be careful driving as there are lots of blind spots that people and dogs can pop out on.
