Quaking aspen was a really beautiful place with a tremendous meadow that just stunning in the morning. I did a very short hike and enjoyed a relatively shaded stroll. The yurt was great. Highly recommended if you dont want to set up a tent. I connected with Tim the host for a bit, hes a great guy and knows the area super well. Cheers

You make a reservation for the Yurts during open season. Then 2 days later they cancel. Yet move you to another Yurt , then cancel 24 hours later. Terrible company running the reservations and campground.

Great, quiet place to camp. Cooler temperatures due to the altitude which is awesome. Very helpful and knowledgeable camp host. Make sure to try the hike at Nobe Young Creek right about mile marker 9, there is a dirt pullout with a fallen tree to the left (that's the trail down).

The bathrooms weren't well maintained when we tried them. The campground host is unfriendly, with an aggressive dog. There are several trails from the campground but it was hard to get information about them.
