Camp host was very sweet and welcoming! Answered any questions we had. The camp site was SUPER great and clean. We had absolutely no issues at all and I would definitely go back!

Darren and Michelle are great at monitoring and watching the sites. The entire campground was clean and well kept. The trail was so close. I was happy to have this experience and will be back.

Stayed at the end of May with great weather and expected bugs. Lots of tall trees surround the campsites providing some shade. There is no water except for the well stocked onsite store. Darren was friendly, helpful, and provided clear instructions so everyone can enjoy the area. The campground is well maintained though when we arrived the dumpster was rather full and hard to open and at least one of the bathrooms was closed. The tentsites are a mixed bag due to uneven grading, space available, and parking.Having the Trail of 100 Giants near by is very nice and after doing that, the campground serves as a great base for exploring the surrounding areas. Watering holes and fishing can be found in a 20m drive.

Silly us for not reading the reviews on here and seeing that there is no running water. That made for an unwelcome surprise when we arrived.Very quiet and idyllic with some little critters for company.Host not on site and camp shop not open on Mondays or Tuesdays at the moment.Pit toilets stunk! No lights in the ones at the back of the loop. Did have toilet paper though.Dumpster was closed and locked.

We were at site #9 for 2 nights. Ground was a bit slanted. Very close to site #8 but it wasn’t a problem. In fact these 2 sites would be great if you have a larger group. Bathroom was across the road, about 10 steps away. Had to get water from the river which was close by but down a hill.
There was shade at our picnic table at 2pm. The camp host Darin was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The gift shop is amazing. Lots of useful items (wood $8/bundle) and souvenirs.

Great campsite. We stayed in spot 009. It was a little sloped downhill. The camp host was really nice and made us feel comfortable. The Trail of 100 Giants is right across the street and it was amazing.

Awesome campground right across from Trail of 100 Giants. Quite a drive but worth it. We camped here before exploring Sequoia. I would choose campsite 8 next time. We were in 9 and it was okay but 8 is more flat. We were able to find plenty of wood in the surrounding area and mostly used kindling and it worked fine for cooking dinner. No bear box but the host said we could leave our stuff in the car without issue.
