Lovely campsite with super friendly helpful hosts. Short walk to see the giant Sequoias. These trees look like they belong in prehistoric times.

Our campsite #8 was beautiful for tent camping but also would be large enough to park a small RV. We love the Trail of 100 Giants, just across the road. We met the campground host, Darren, Sunday evening upon arrival, who seemed very nice, but he was gone Mon and Tue for his two days off. Mercedes in the gift/supply shop was very nice and helpful with a couple of purchases. On the negative side, the pit toilets stunk and were full of flies, with no evidence of cleaning while we were there. When we left, toilet paper was nearly gone. Unfortunately, we would not camp there again due to the repulsive outhouses.

The trees are phenomenal! We were there in the middle of the week at the end of May and the campground was empty! It was quiet and beautiful! The only people were the workers at the camp store, which was fully stocked with necessities and souvenirs. Across the street is the Trail of a Hundred Giants, aka the Sequoias! Wow! We spent most of our time on the walkways through the giants, gawking, and pondering the immense size of the Sequoias. So amazing!

clean campsite, just across from the (pit) toilets. No water available at this campground. Site wasn't the most leveled for tent camping. Camp host was exceptional. The best thing about this campground is the easy access to trail of 100 giants just across the street.

Great place to camp. Early morning walk in trail of 100 giants before crowds is an inspirational experience. Those giants know stuff thousands of years before us. Keep Brian and Michelle as your campground hosts. They make a real difference in the stay. We will most likely be back.
The hosts were just great. Checked in to make sure I was ok. The only problem was the "meat bees" The moment you brought out meat of any kind they rang the dinner bell and two became 20 persistent flying critters.

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
