This campsite is excellent, especially if you are looking for a dog-friendly experience. There is a camp store and gift shop that is open every day which sells snacks/drinks/firewood and whatever you forgot. The people who work at the grounds are amazing. Bring in your own water, but otherwise you are close enough to California Hotsprings so you are not without staples. I booked a yurt site which also allows two extra tents on site and sleeps up to five people on its own, so it's a great group site for a bargain. The yurt locks and is clean, dry, and well-insulated. The yurt site was practically a quarter acre, and the ground seems to be less visited than others in Sequoai giving plenty of peace and quiet. Camp fires and parking one vehicle at your site are permitted (more than one car is possible for a fee). Each site has picnic tables and fire rings, there is even a babbling brook that wraps behind each plot. I strongly recommend staying here and going to the Trail of 100 Giants across the road, Nobe Young Falls trail (amazing!), Nobe Young and Alder Creeks, Alder Slabs, and Dome Rock. These sites are all hiking distance and/or within a 15 minute drive. The Needles mountain formations are within a 45 minute drive. All of these trails are dog-friendly and within Sequoia National Forest. Thanks to everyone who keeps this site operating and beautiful!

We stayed in the yert and it was a wonderful experience. This was the first time staying in one and it had a bunk bed and a futon. The campsite was actually a very large and could definitely fit a big tent if there is like 10 people in your group. At the entrance of the campground is the trailhead of 100 giants which is where the giant sequoias are located. Definitely recommend this campground.

The yurts were pretty nice and the campgrounds were in great condition. The camp host was really good and kept the campers insulated from all of the day use traffic. The only problem was that the well for the site wasn’t functioning and there was no water to drink, wash dishes etc unless you brought it yourself. Another improvement would be that the forest service add bear resistant storage containers/lockers for food as there has been history with people storing food in the yurts and hungry bears breaking into them. Overall great camping experience though!

Redwood meadow is a solid place for campers to enjoy. Having the convenience of a yurt and access to the general store is everything! The drive up is fairly smooth and the stay is super peaceful. I love it! I stayed in yurt 1, nice but i prefer yurt 2.

The Campground is so beautifully kept. The Camp Host was helpfu and gave advise . The Camp Host found keys in the dumpster that belonged to a member of our group!!! Above and beyond. I will try and make it back to this charming place.
