First I would like to note that there was no where on site 11 to put a tent, MAYBE a small single person tent? But the picture is very misleading. When we arrived there was no host on duty, no cellular coverage to contact anyone, and our site hadnt even been marked as reserved. We hung out for a while to see if anyone showed up, hiked/walked the neat trail across the way and ended up having to take the loss on the campsite and keep on driving on our road trip-which was exhausting because you are slap in the middle of nowhere and with no cellular coverage (from T-Mobile) to find any other place to stay. Once I did receive service it would let me cancel the reservation. It was a bust and also the most expensive campsite we booked our entire trip. Campsite 11 should really only be a day use or single person site and the pictures need to be updated.

NOTE: This review is for Site 7. We originally booked site 11 which is very beautiful and secluded but there was no place flat for our tent except the parking spot. The helpful and friendly host, Darren, told us that spot 7 was available as someone had cancelled last minute, so we move there and it was ideal in every way! The babbling brook, the spacious and secluded area, were charming. The campground is ideally situated for the Trail of 100 Giants which is a lovely walk and dog friendly!

Very peaceful and pretty campground. Within walking distance to the trail of 100 giants, short but beautiful hike on paved ground. Camp host Darol and his wife were exceptional and kind/inviting. Only the absence of available water taps was an issue. Other than that 10/10

You may get a raccoon visit.
This campsite is on a slope.

My campsite was on an incline so the tents were not level. Also, there is no running water to wash dishes. The bathrooms were very clean and the camp host was very professional.

Had a nice secluded spot, but it was fairly slanted where the table and fire ring were, only one flat spot just big enough for our tent. Otherwise, quiet if theres not too much traffic on the road nearby.
