We got there at dark and couldnt see the sign and passed it. The sign is on the right and not reflective. Then, with a 21ft camper trailer we ended up on a one road and no service, talk about a scary movie. We drove this way for about 25 mins till we finally came to a turn out and its a bumpy road. There werent any lights at the site and we couldnt pull into our spot the angle was too tight, beware 16 for trailers. There was only one sprinter van in the campsite, so we just picked another spot. I found a crab apple tree, that was cool. There is no WiFi and no service, be prepared.

The campground was pretty, but the lack of water was challenging. Also, there were some loud large groups and the sites were close together. I didn't realize the size of the impact of the Castle fire when planning my trip; large swaths of the Sequoia National Forest are inaccessible/unusable due to the fire and I was disappointed that nearly all the trails I tried to visit were closed. Check with the rangers before you go to see what trails are available.
