Camp site # 20 needs new table. If you try both side seats, you will feel the difference and issues.

Really enjoyed our time at Headquarters campground. The host was friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The river was clean and not to strong at the time so we were able to swing and relax in the water. Most of the bathrooms were clean but there were a few that were not so clean. One important thing to note is the main dumpster for the trash is by the front entrance, it took a while for me to find it at night since i did not notice it on the drive in. There are a ton of gnats at night that are attracted to light so a screened canopy is highly recommended if you want to eat in peace lol. Would def stay here again.

Great campsite. Quite and clean. The host Deb is very attentive. Weather was great and river was calm.Very sad to see the destruction that occurred this Spring to some of the best sites, but Deb assured us that they are securing funding and ramping up to make repairs.It would be nice to see more signage around camp. We first pulled in and was unsure where our site was and went the wrong direction. Maps located online were not very useful. Additionally, it would be nice to know where the water spickets and trash are located (much overgrowth and spickets were hard to locate sometimes. The only trash can was at the front entrance, which was not bad and was a reason for a nice walk.

This place is magical and beautiful. The camp hosts Were amazing and helpful. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because you’re not allowed to set up a campfire at all. Only propane and gas is allowed. Also keep in mind that this is very populated camp, you might end up on a night with a loud music.
There is an access to the river you can kayak and do all kinds of sports on the river. The place is just magical

Had site 20, the beach entrance was right in front of us. Family had a great time, if you go tubing walk up the road to the next campsite and youll see a sign that says River Entrance. Its a fun ride back to your campsite.

Everything was very nice, wish there were more fish in the river at headquarters, but overall, great trip. Mark was very nice and knowledgeable.

It was wonderful, majestic and peaceful. Camped next to the river. Cold this time of year,

The Campground was nearly empty after reopening, following recent closures due to October wildfires. The Host was friendly. The site had a bit of litter and garbage left from the previous group, which I quickly cleaned up. I caught a couple of trout just a few yards from the campsite. It got down to about 40f at night. The next day, the water was shut off at the campground, which I assume was to prevent freezing pipes.
